My girlfriend means a lot to me, and as much as I know both her and I would love to hear your opinions on her I'd be more than a bit upset if some scumbag said anything derogatory or mean towards her, as has happened in the past.
She's the only thing decent in this world to me, and I will not expose her to the dregs of this world, at any cost.
I do appreciate your interest, HitPoint..I know you're a decent guy as are many others here...but this is a issue a bit closer to me than I want to expose to some.

i agree your attitude to this we don't care if some scumbags here are yelling at us cause we can defend us and most people here will help... but nobody wants to have someone close to him involved...

The meaning of love is different for everybody.
Sometimes there are those who love because they feel insecure, and feel if they don't love they are somehow different from everyone else and need to be more like them. Some love for money or posessions. Some love out of pity or charity. These are undesireable forms of love, relationships based on these rarely survive.
There are others meanings I've seen that are more general. When you truly love someone (and you know immediately when you feel it) there doesn't even have to be a reason. You just do and you don't have to question why. She/he may not be the most attractive or funny or smart person, these things don't matter. This is the kind of love I'm in right now and the kind I feel is the purest and hardest to shake. I've known ppl who've fallen in love with 300lb uneducated bitches, but if they've found someone they truly love then power to them.
So Silver, those are the meanings of love (brief list) There are as many meanings as there are lovers on earth, so I guess to ask "what is the meaning of love" you would need to ask everyone.
