I'll tell you one thing, the female admins I have are much easier to deal with.

They always come to me first if they have a problem that needs dealt with and they generally don't hand out tons of bans based on ego or macho bullshit.

So contrary to popular opinion, more thought goes into choosing an admin than you think and I don't really care 'what it looks like'

I won't say it doesn't happen but those bans always get lifted. If people are on the ban list for cheating then you can bet there is solid proof of one form or another despite what they might claim. Unlike clan server we don't ban people on suspicion of hacking.

Personally I spec every new face that seems to be doing well on the server. A few minutes and you can generally tell that they are clean. That way I don't feel like an idiot defending them when the braying masses of nubbitude insist they are a hax. Most times pcheck lets me know who they really are anyway if they are any good so often I don't have to.

You know this Greg, you were admin for about a week or so.

Well, everyone has their "good rounds". But whenever a person does it every round...that's when people start calling them hackers...or just drop a crazy round on them.

Actually I get more suspicious when mediocre players like me pull a round like that out of the hat. I can't see how consistently good play is eveidence of hacks. Surely erractic gameplay that ranges from very good to poor is far more suspicious.

There's a lot of sheltered players on the beach who have never played on any really good servers and so have inflated ideas of their own skills. They can't see how they can get any better so they assume that anyone who is better must be hacking. Me I've been lubed and abused way too many times on euro osp servers to think my shot's anything more than mediocre.

Honestly though this thread is a waste of time. The admins spend far more time on the server defending good players from accusation than they ever do 'conspiring' to remove people who kill them. If the admins were't there to stop them getting tked or kick voted most of the best shots would get driven off but the sub 70 IQ posse screaming hax every time they die.

So here's the thing. If you think an admin is being unfair to you on the server take an screenshot and pm it to Man-at-arms or to any of the admins other than the one you have a problem with. Don't turn around and shower them with abuse because you will get banned. Then they will take screenshots and you will be forever branded a smacktard even if you might have been in the right before you mouthed off.

I've always showed favoritism torward Mike. He's a good guy imo. I don't want to bash anyone so I usually keep my mouth shut. Plus I don't really play anymore. I've played 2 rounds in the last 8 months. To be honest it just isn't fun anymore will all the old timers like me gone. It was fun 4 years ago. And went downhill from there.

Graphics don't mean a thing. I'm dog tired of games with great graphics but shitty gameplay. RTCW has I think the best multiplayer gameplay of any game I have ever player, and that's all there is to it.

Partly right though, graphics dont always make up for the game, however RTCW is one of the most hacked cheating paradise in FPS's. That makes the gameplay subpar...

CSS has good graphics and far better gameplay

I havent played css in almost two years. ANd yes it had hacks and cheats but nothing along the lines of RTCW. And at least Source has been trying to reduce the amount of hacks.
