"tell_target" command, help needed :)

Hey All,
It's been fun playing with you since my return, still haven't got the hang of survivng for longer than 5 seconds though, but nevermind it's all good fun :)

Anyway, just wondering if you could help me out on something. I have been on a few other servers as well as the ECGN one and bound to my number 9 key I have this:

/bind 9 "tell_target recharging medpacks please wait"

On some servers this works, what is does is deliver the line of text to the teammate I am aiming my crosshair at. As I am wanting to inform just the one person I am healing rather than the whole team.

But on the ECGN server, I get the message "unknown CMD" or something like that, just wondered if there was any similar bind I could use instead where I just message the one person.

Help greatly appreciated.

Yeah I think it's disabled server side. Don't think there is a comparable bind that will thank just the one person but if you bind in team chat using the shortcuts:

[A] the last person that gave you ammo
[D] the last player that killed you
[H] the last team mate that gave you health
[l] your location
[s] the amount opf health you have
[R] the last player who revived you

You can at least save yourself the typing.

So like /bind x say_team hey [R] thanks for the revive m8! and that'll ome out as " hey parrot thanks for the revive m8!" ;)

This will include the targets name (though it will say team):

bind 9 "say_team [p] recharging medpacks please wait"

This is the one I use, just a general "chill out" message:

bind g "say_team ^5Charging..."
