Yeah well unfortuantely seeing as everytime the map gets changed half the population of the server disconnects it's not really worth it.

The game's dead, people just want to corner camp to get cheap kills and run up a meaningless KR. There's no imagination there, just a group of people playing wolf out of habit for reasons they probably can't remember.

I also can't stand the attitude of a lot of the players. It gets old fast listening to 5 guys whine like school girls in global chat because they are getting owned. Even if the guy was hacking, which in 99.99 percent of cases he isn't, whining about it is just annoying. I get it, you've played wolf for 6 years so you assume you must be the best but aiming on wolf is extrememely easy. The bullet spread is minute and the crosshair movement is tiny. Practically anything is possible in terms of one or two shot kills with head shots, people need to realise that.

It's not even the good aimers either, people just seem to want to bitch out anyone for almost any reason. I go there to play and I end up getting embroiled in some pointless whining match that pretty soon degenerates in to a tk fest. Some people really need to learn the line between game and reality. I don't want to have to put kid gloves on to smooth down the ruffled feathers of adults who are acting like children just because someone is doing something they don't like in a video game...

Is there some kind of PB cheater registry where offenders are public humiliated?

And what cheats are they using?

Well Eric there are 2 places that keep track of caught cheaters.

http://www.punksbusted.com

Both have a repository of caught hackers and what they were caught with. Now that you have this info use it wisely. Don't jump to conclusions saying oh you have the name _____ , your a caught cheater. Make sure you have evidence to back up any claims, such as the same guid, demos, PB screenshots, or ip matches.

My apologies if I have seemed a bit overzealous as of late on the Server but it seems like there has been a resurgence of cheaters on ECG. I have made 4 separate posts in the banned section and now that my Yawn is back up and running I can hopefully weed out some more.
