What do you define as best? What are the parameters? Because I recall some players were absolutely phenomenal as med , others that were elite engineers, superb LT'S , and soldiers that could panzer 3/4 of the team and take out the rest with the pistol. In my opinion each class had a person that was best at each, and each class was integral to competition.

To be fair Gamecat the Euros had a big headstart as Clanbase was the first credible league to organise RTCW and play a league( recall those old barry's planet server for free), and CAL really didnt get going till about the same time as Jolt . As for the amount of cheats amongst the Euros as opposed to the US lets get some perspective, Clanbase never required all players to make demo's like CAL and TWL did. And lets not forget that it wasnt until about the 3rd year that punkbuster really made its mark on the game the same year that RTCW died for clanbase.

I would agree with your assessment that Euros play better tactically, with nice choke points , and fantastic teamplay

As to Remedy being caught , it should not come as a big surprise, countless people always thought he did. Lao how can you say you positively know he doesn't hack? Because you have known him for ages or because you talk to him on vent or back in the day Roger Wilco ? Numerous people have been disappointed by people just like Remedy over the years ,people they swore to be legit. Any anti cheat site will tell you the same thing, there is never an excuse for a cheat. A cheat is a cheat is a cheat. The excuses are just as conniving as the cheaters themselves and they rely on naive friends to believe there lies and those same friends to carry there torch to the public. Lets start a new topic with a list of excuses for being caught with a cheat.

EDIT: aight i just read the whole thread - apparently some shady stuff when down while i was on my 3 year break. No joke though i don't think rem was a hacker - i spec'd him tons and honestly i never saw one thing that made me be like NO WAY BS - he just has an amazing shot..but its not too amazing
