The 82nd Annual Academy Awards (2010)
Then it's time for our real hosts,
Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin, who ascend from on high in a feathered contraption.
Alec begins: "Ladies and gentlemen I am pleased to introduce actor, writer, musician, Grammy and Emmy winner, one of the most enduring entertainers of all time... Mr. Steve Martin."
Steve turns to his cohost: "And this is Alec Baldwin."
gets about the same amount of respect here...

yeah I thought they were pretty funny together.
They gotta stop the award winners from thanking EVERYONE. It ruins the show and makes me want to switch channels.
Say "Thank you very much for the award"
and then get the fuck off the stage.

And when entertainers receive so much pomp and attention, and millions watch people who really do not contribute much to the human race, society has truly sunk to pitiful depths.
How about an awards show for people that really do something, like keep your water clean so you can drink it from your tap, or the farmers that grow your food, maybe the doctor that saves your life or helps bring in the new life of your child?
Nope instead we focus on what amounts to modern day minstrels and court jesters , pay them millions of dollars and then shower them with praise and awards.
Gee what is wrong with society?

Personally, I think they should give rewards to people who aren't afraid to accuse others of hacking: no matter how silly the accusations are. I think those people are true heroes of society; not only to ECGN, but to all servers as a whole.
