What a Night
Here are some pictures from Annapolis MD, I have been on generator power since about 11pm last night

I know my folks back in Williamsburg have no power right now. They escaped any damage to the house or anything so that's good.
We didn't get much here in blacksburg, top winds about 35 mph and lots of rain but that's it.
We're hardcore, we had a football game last night durring the brunt of it

Well, the power was JUST restored a few minutes ago.
The devastation in this area is tremendous!!!
This whole area has been declared a disaster area from about 75 miles south to about 50 (or more) miles north of here. We lost power Thursday about 1-2 pm. The hurricane went right over top of us, the eye passed directly over us. As usual, it was a truly awesome site to behold. I watched as trees were blown over and a fence across the street was knocked down. There was a pickup parked right in front of our building that was threatening to lift off the ground. It was amazing so see the wind being able to lift the pickup! If the wind were any stronger it would have been blown away. I pressed my face against the window as I watched; the window pressed back as the tremendous wind tried to get in. We lost many, many shingles off the roof and developed several leaks, but luckily no one here was hurt.
Thanks for inquiring about me!
I am headed back to Atlanta in a few hours, so I'll catch you all on the flip side.
