I think this thread is probably dead, but I want to say a few last things. 1st, I am guilty of sounding self riteous when I talk about these things. 2nd, nobody likes to be lectured about current events, especially from people who sound self riteous. 3rd, this is a gaming forum and were way far away from talking about games. Last, as Doomgiver slighly alluded to, nobody is probably going to change their opinion.

My whole point in posting was to educate some of the people on this thread that were saying basically uninformed things, and I thought their talk was feeding into this hysterical paralysis of "the worlds going to gang up on us."

Those people have their opinions.

One last thing. To the people on this thread who did speak intelligently, and you know who you are, thankyou.

My whole point was to tell people that the movie just gives perspective on a touchy subject, but no one wants to here that so all I get is people whining that mike moore sucks, well if christia agulera made the movie would you go fucking see it? I tried to have intelligent coversation but when all you get back is dumb shit you can't do much. Thanks anyways El Cid, I generally like hearing from you. If you have a reply to this here post and its not going to be nice, I'm not going to care and I'm not going to reply, I have said my piece, later cid, later other things. :flame:

You're right, Cid. I felt the same way.

Tool, I already acknowledged your right to opinion. I never meant to insult anyone (except the French) - it's not a very good way to change minds.

You're alright. If I can't sway you I'll get over it. It's not worth the enmity of a flame war. We're here to play the game and have fun and laugh our asses off. :cool:

I've learned that there are really two kinds of opinions.

1)regular opinions

2)informed opinions

I'm always most appreciative when someone shares their informed opinion with me (even if I don't readily agree) because I can learn something that way. The problem with most message boards is that you have people spouting off more on the basis of emotion than logic. Thanks to you guys who shared some real info. along with your opinions.

Despite our differences, I think we all learned some things. Such as: Americans are not interested in invading North Korea. However, Germany is beginning to look tempting. Neither Edogg nor Tool are interested in joining the U.S. military though they could be persuaded if they get to carry something resembling a venom. Furthermore, Mike Moore is secretly French but has yet to come out of the closet for fear of upsetting his lover, Saddam Hussein. Did I miss anything?

One more thing I would like to say, earlier some of you talkin bout gun control and or the selling of bullets....My father was a cop, when I was a kid I knew exactly where he put his gun at night. I never touched it, never ever, Well ok just once, and believe me I still cant live that moment down, after I shot my father,mother, brother, sister and family dog Tipsy(we called him tipsy because he only had 2 legs and would always tip over) so you see I feel its due to ones upbringing the person you will become, and because I was taught the correct way, I only had one minor incident. Good thing the warden lets us have computer time or I wouldnt get to know any of you.....by the way if you guys would like to write jsut send mail too: Col. Bukkake
