Well...

They were talking about maybe merging with G4... plus, they only shut down the San Fran. studios. They are reposting the jobs in LA to those interestered.

But yes.. this SUCKS if some don't come back.. or if they just scratch the idea all together.

On a lighter note.. at least the girls could still do Playboy

Just a hunch, but I would bet that Tech TV needs to not exist because of Most Favored Nations provisions in there respctive affiliation agreements. i.e. if Tech TV were to exist Comcast would have to lower the monthly rate for its subsribers of G4 to the Tech TV rate. What's probably going to happen is that Comcast will now receive the G4 rate for past Tech TV subscribers. Comcast probably bought subscribers first and programming second. More eyeballs = more advertising revenue. They will still have to deliver the goods on programming to support the advertising so I would assume that they would incorporate some of the better tech tv stuff.
