Well, now that you mention it, I did notice many somewhat calm responses from you Col. Bukkake, I thought you might be sick or something. :D

Can it be that we are witnessing the true softer side of Col. Bukkake....NAH!

Nah......I usually destroy threads with my mental illness, but since evryone was being so civil, it was a shock to my system. :D

Despite the occasional outburst, I am not offended by anyone's views either (no matter how wrong they are).

Japan and Germany were both working on their own nuclear bombs and were very close to finishing them. If we had not used ours on them, they would surely have used theirs on us and other countries. The world would be completely different today if we had not dropped those bombs. They actually saved millions and millions of lives even including the lives that they took. That said, I hope nuclear weapons are never used again.

I don't like *REAL* war, but unfortunately there are people out there who do (eg. Saddam, Osama, Milosivich, etc) and use it for political, social, economic gain. The USA has matured over the years and can still use improvement, but should not and cannot stand by and let Saddam's regime continue. I do agree however that a few more months would not necessarily be a bad thing as we may get the full support of the rest of the world. Ultimately the inspectors will not succeed because Saddam is a master of deceit; he has after all put the world off for 12 years. I would also hate to think that we wait too long and end up with a suit case bomb(s) or some other WMD in our major cities.

Peace to all! :)

I say we turn Iraq into a popular tourist destination! We'll make it unique in the world- where else can you see the beautiful rolling hills of glass?

(for those who are confused, glass is created from sand using heat and pressure)

(if you still don't know it, give up- to difficult for you)

And no- I don't truly support this opinion, there are innocents there. I just don't feel the top end of the regime counts as that.
