New Detonator Drivers: 43.00
I haven't tested them out yet, but I hear that people have gotten a nice boost in performance.

Shellshock, if you don`t mind, which driver version and detonator drivers are you currently using? I`m currently using Driver version 6.13 with 41.09 detonator`s. Do you think in your opinion I should upgrade, and if so what is the best way to delete my current versions before downloading the new drivers. I have Windows Xp with 9x. Thanks for any replys!

I'm using XP pro and have just installed the new drivers. So far everything seems ok, I've not noticed any problems or anything like that. So I suggest you give'em a try!

Thanks for the info! If Im not mistaken, the 41.09 drivers, is the latest official version on Nvidia`s home page, although I would imagine better than 50% of the folks out there upgrade to to the un-official upgraded versions and have no problems. By the way, did you delete your previous drivers before downloading the 43.00?;)

Sorry, I personally don`t know if there supported or not. I`m pretty sure they are not supported as an official release by Nvidia. You might find the answer to your question at http://WWW.3Dguru.com and also in their webpage forums.

Well the detonater drivers are not "digitally signed" on my machine, but they work just fine anyways. and did you mean http://www.guru3d.com or what?

Thanks for the correction. My memory seems to be fading by the day! http://www.guru3d.com I did install the new one`s also, and see no great visible improvement over the 41.09. But even my eyes are fading these days. I haven`t run a benchmark test yet, but some folks have claimed a slight loss with the new drivers but say the color seems to be better in the game.

Hey! that`s great, as long as your visual effects remain suitable to your eyes and you got a FPS bonus, which will help you out when playing in the high graphic scenes on any of the games you enjoy, the 43.00`s helped you out. I use the fraps utility to measure my FPS in games. Whenever I change things around in the computer or in game settings, I usually go to a low graphic detail scene in bf1942, like the clouds straight up off the carrier in the coral sea map. That`s where I have gotton my highest framerates, and always go back to the same scene to test actual FPS changes after changing variables. Up in the clouds my FPS is around 140, but comes straight down to average around 60 to 90.

I was running the 41.09 set until today when I upgraded to 43.00.
I've received increases in both the 2001 and 2003 3DMark tests as well as in-game framerate improvements. I have not seen any noticable change in visual quality (for better or worse) over the 41.09 drivers. Though I have found that both 41.09 and 43.00 are both far superior visual quality over any of the 42.XX betas.
I would suggest upgrading.
