US MILITARY ACTION IN IRAQ Y or N?
The girl in the interview is typical of many, (not all or even most), young people. War is wrong and there are other ways to go about settling problems, but have no logical answer to how to do it. Much like many anti war advocates in this forum. Angrybrit I could not help but laugh during the beginning of this broadcast, then it started to hit me, this girl really can"t respond! The man from iraq was clear in his thoughts and spoke well. Glad you posted this, and perhaps some of our anti war group should listen to this iraqi citizen!

Make sure to tune into the Oscars this sunday. Apparently the stars have been given carte-blanche to say whatever they want about the war when they get up to the podium.
Should be good for a few laughs, although they may end up having to drag people like Susan Sarandon away kicking and screaming.

Great link. Unfortunately, we've heard the same things from many other former Iraqi citizens.
What we have seen so far is that the peace-nazis either won't listen or don't care. It seems that all that motivates them is hatred of America or hatred of Bush - likely both.

I think there is an additional motivating factor that is rather disturbing. Being "Trendy". I witnessed a local news broadcast covering a group of 7th graders protesting the impending war. With reasons such as "No dead babies for oil" I was rather taken aback by their firm grasp on the world around them...
As if hidden agendas were not bad enough, we now have to contend with "Brittney Spears" politicos.
Also, to all forum members, I just joined here because of the intelligent debate I have seen. I have to say I am rather impressed. Hopefully my presence will not lower the average IQ level too much.
I bid you good day.

Yeah, well apparently, there will be no red carpet, and the stars will enter in through the back.

I normally don't post links because I try to formulate my own words and opinions from what I read and my background. This article though, is so well written that I don't think I could do it justice by attempting to expound on it. I heard about it listening to Rush this morning.
