The assumption that shooting Panzers from the bunker door is a good tactic is about on level with Saddam Hussien charging the 101 st with a sling shot.

Anyone with brain bucket half full of brains would realize that the Nazi's ( just like the allies) have a 4 or 5 second invunarability window. So that Panzer that you just shot only blocked the door , pushed some invunarable Nazi faster out of the room and tied up your buddies for a B-52 styly carpet bombing not seen since Devils Highway just a tick out of Basra.

You don't like the tactic , then find another way to get him. Thats where the fun comes in. Suicide grenades , way to take one for the team.
