Most Popular/frequent Player On Oc48

It's cool, bayotanzk. Clearly I win the 'most obsessive life deprived frequent' category by a lot, but I'm not the most popular. *sniff* That's cause I'm not always there for the mass-attack on allies, or the crunch 'n munch defense of the axis. I prefer to fight alone, or, occassionally, when there's a few good players capatilizing on some vulnerable defence/attack spot I'll throw my weight in.
Most of you good guys are good team-players. You go up in a group and help bury each other, or carry the laurels of victory on your collective shoulders. Guess I'm more fond of guerilla warfare. I see Rule of Wrist / Paragon of Stupitude doing that too--probably why he isn't recognized as a good player (which he is). Lazer, Cyrus, and a few others come to mind when they're playing axis. They fly around, mostly harrassing the allied spawn to Hell and back.

I don't really go for recognition. I am satisfied that someone sees that "you were killed/gibbed by =PSG=Paragon_of_Stupitude".
That and trying to tell people what's happening... "all clear", "flamer on stairs", "panzer to ducts to take out axis venom", "cover the docs" and the like.
Peeves: jackasses standing on back stairs, apparently waiting to be grenaded together. What are you afraid of? Running out of lives?
not being able to hold positions on allies because nobody is attacking, I clear out a stair flamer once, and nobody beats back the flamer's buddies, and he's back the next time I come through. I understand that sometimes the defense is too good, but damn people!
5 people in the WR waiting to get the docs when their buddy gets killed. And then nobody goes with the guy who gets it again! HELLO!
On axis the only thing I don't like is when people fall asleep when the docs get taken and don't try to help find the guy that took them. A lot of the time it's just one guy! I've seen Lazer take advantage of this a lot... don't know how he does it
OK enough ranting...

Yeah, I love that one. Been a few times where I've hopped down the stairs, primed a grenade, started the mental countdown, and found myself amongst a herd of milling allies. Next thing I know there's a bunch behind me and I'm standing there thinking "..Oh shi.....BANG"
Or....I hop over their heads/mangle my way through the crowd, fling myself through the bottom door, toss the nade left, jump the rail, and fire my way through the support axis.... only to wind up dead and looking back at...nothing.
Personally, I love seeing someone going down with me who knows what they're doing. It's great to take advantage of the confusion one or two good players can cause amongts a half dozen or more axis.
Hmm...this post had more to do with 'players I dislike the most'....lol. I think Wolfplayer would probably win that vote hands down. Then again.....

Oh I like those guys when I'm on axis, can't stand em on allies...
Funny story about that.... last night I was playing and there was only about 10-12 people per side... I was allied. There was a flamer on the back stairs and like 2-3 guys backing him up. I kept killing him with nades but I guess he kept getting revived because he was always there when I tried to go down the stairs.
After about 5 mins of this and no help... I decided to kamikaze the radio room to go around and clear those guys out.... figuring that there would be punx in the WR and those 4-5 guys on the stairs that would leave maybe 1-2 guys to get past....
So it takes me a couple of tries to get through but finally do to the back stairs. timed nade to go off and round stairs, tossed into the middle of 4 guys! GOOSH! No guys there anymore! I had to laugh about that one, and we proceeded to win....
That strat is much tougher when the server is full, though doable....

SavageParrot--I don't think you suck. I've knocked you out a bunch of times in one-on-one bang 'em ups (I get a sense that your system/mouse lags behind your intentions; there's always a pause when you change directions that I count on to get a bead), but you're smart in long-range planning. Good support guy when you go in with a crew. You know how to work a room with your buds.
You're usually in the middle of the score-board, but so am I. Depends how you play. I like to play lone-guy interferance, which doesn't net a lot of points, but aggravates the hell out of a group trying to coordinate it's movements.
Lonewolfq or something like that comes to mind. That guy is a complete loner nut. Never gets a lot of points, but when he gets it into his mind to harass the allied spawn, you can take it for granted you'll be starting out on the beach 3 out of 4 re-spawns. Doesn't get him much points, but it sure pisses me off some games. lol.
