Power Hungry Admin

I was told by mighty that i was gonna get tk'd because i was a sniper and i guess because they was only 10 players total. Mighty started bleeding me, i called mighty stupid with the PHA CHICK backing them up telling me to shut up. I later asked for ammo from CHICK and made me wait a good 10 secs. and then started giving everyone else ammo instead. I called her an asshole and left to sniper hill. and the typical chick banned me with no warning no nothing. Oh well.. life is not going so well for this PHA. get a life and a job and maybe you wont be such a ****

You'll be back. You know that if Mighty was to tk you and it was intenional he would be booted. All you gotta do if you're having a prob. with an admin is pm MAA and let him deal with it. When the admin that is on doesn't deal with the problem then let another admin know when you see one. You can play any class you want. It's a game and no one has the right to tk or tell you how or what class to play. Don't even worry about it Bud.

pardon the interuption, but i have a question.
I'm not familiar with RTCW, but the idea of Admin's is. So my question would be:

Why would the 'power/authority' be given to someone, and then have that someone ignore the cries of a player who feels they are being wronged?

Does it work like favorites? Meaning that he who was being tk'd, and isn't a buddy of the admin. Hence, they aren't treated as quickly as say' a friend would have?

just curious how ya'll work it.

Bud, you were a sniper with 10 in your mauser and 10 in your clip. I was the only Lt. I had all the medics yelling for ammo as well. I choose to give them ammo first.

1) come play rtcw it's a non-stop 24/7 whine fest. Even the best intentioned admin can't pay attention to everything especially when it's just another childish case of 'he's shooting me so i'm shooting him'. At the end of the day if people won't help them selves by making a simple apology for example or by letting a tk slide then there is only so much you can do. It takes 2 to tango and if a situation is escalating you can bet it's not all on one side.

It's not maicious though he's just a stoned monkey. You hear a complaint from him and so long as he's not dying you think: 'meh, it's no more than he's dishing out'.

3) M!ghty is not a regular, he plays but not all that often, so he's not likely to classify as a particular favourite of the admins.

As for favouritism in general of course it happens can't see the problem with it myself though. I look on it as an issue of trust; on the one hand you'll have a guy you have had no problems with for years. He/she is the known quantity. On the other hand you have an unknown who you have rarely if ever seen before. IMO it's both right and sensible to give preferential treatment to the regular who you know, they have earnt that consideration.

But then I have no problems with verbally and physically bitch slapping my friends when they step out of line as well. I only wish they would do me the same courtesy. If you are doing something wrong it's better to hear about it from your friends than have it used by your enemies...

I realize you pay for your respect and not earn it, why not try helping people that are getting tk'd instead of telling the victims to shut up. Mighty was bleeding me and he even told me publicly he was gonna tk and what do you do??? nothing that's right. as far as getting ammo i did have 20 bullets and was waiting patiently for you to give me ammo, its a long walk to sniper hill and you could of given me ammo first after all those other players were far away from us and would soon be joining and running with you i have to go back to sniper hill which makes more sense especially waiting for your lame butt. or haven't you played the game long enough to realize that? One other thing i never had a problem ever with any of the other admins or have ever been banned on the only server i play on for the past 4 years of playing.

Kinda tells you something doesn't it????

Sry to chime in on your parade KILLERBUD but you've always been a TKing moron.
Number 1: You've been playing for like 4 years and still can't do anything but snipe, flaming takes no skill and you tk your team anyway so dont count that.

I'm LOVE now bird man lol but just wanted to address the tk issue yes i tk alot and not on purpose and always on flamer it comes with the territory and anyone that says otherwise i would like them to prove it to me. i also get tked alot as a flamer and i never say anything unless its excessive because i understand my teams frustrations when my aim is off. I take a lot of heat for it as well, as you guys literally. and the reason they disabled the flamer was because of me yet it was brought back. i think we are all working better with the flamer, you all know I'm usually camped at the backstairs, it is extremely effective as a counter attack and sometimes, not very often, it can be disastrous. also note the I'm a top scorer when I'm a medic always with out a doubt, just a lot of work to always be a medic it does a number on my fingers they are not young as any of you young critters.

uh wrong... i out score you as well as a medic and for your info i dont snipe all the time just recently and there was only 10 players on this particular day so yes the admin was able to do something about the bleeding, especially with the warning before hand. And i let that tk go i just called him stupid and hid from him.

Not everbody distinguishes between deliberate and accidental tks, especially when talking about the kind of numbers you get. You might not be trying to kill anyone on your team but you are damn sure not trying hard enough not to and that's what pisses them off.

It's not enough to not care that you tked and pass it off as accidental you need to make the effort to not do it again...

The only reason you haven't been banned before for excessive tks is because you are likeable with it. Other players with your level of tks have been banned for tking sometimes for months but mostly because they ahev turned round and told us to fuck off after we have been defending them against accusation. If you want admins to pay attention to every complaint we get then that's fine but I'm sure we have a backlog odf about 10,000 complaints against you to deal with.

Bottom line if a guy is bleeding you then stand still and let him tk you then point an admin to the log. We aren't gonna kick or ban anyone just because you say so and going spec to see it is both a pain in the ass but is also unreliable as it doesn't give the back story. I've been tricked into banning people on more than one occasion by players who like to pick fights with other players with a view to getting them banned when they retaliate.
