The Best RTCW Player?

One game that is fun is FF/Off. People who've never played it thinks it's too easy, but ask anybody who HAS played it. It's one of the toughest games to win. Objectives rarely get to the radio room.

i think that is pretty dumb. both sides are supposed to have a good chance of delivering the docs to the radio room. wolf was designed so teams would take turns completing the obj and try to beat the other team's time. on ecgn it's already very difficult to do this when the server is crowded and most of the time it's just full hold after full hold. ff off would just make it worse. on crappy, er happy penguin there is no ff and it's not fun at all.

You're forgetting though that crappy penguin also has unlimited lives.

FF off and unlimited lives is shit, because there's no point in the game, you spawn you die and it doesn't matter because you can keep doing it forever. Especially on railyard or whatever the map they play is where you can stay in limbo forever until one team wins...

Doorblockers used to be a problem but that's what admins are for. Would they be a bigger problem than teamkillers? I doubt it...

As for making it harder to win I doub that too. It brings the panzer back into the game because they can take the big shots without having to worry about team-mates running in front like lemmings;it would also mean Engy would become more popular for their nade spamming ability.

It's all about balance. At the moment the balance is skewed towards medic. 7/10 people are usually meds. There's probably 1 lt who's got good enough aim that he takes his health off the enemy meds a panz and a venom and maybe a flamer all of who get contant abuse for teamkilling, because they are not weapons of precision but of mass effect.

Maybe think about changing the charge time for lts, possibly 5-10 seconds faster than the current recharge time. This would make the lts more effective without the likelihood of airstrike spam. I would suggest 5 seconds maybe even only 3, but I would recommend adjusting the number of ammo packs they can give then to coincide with the change in charge time

Why beat a dead horse to death?

Being that the map is beach most of the time, its normally a pain for lts on the ally side to call in an FFE or airstrike. They have to camp, wait, w/e and then throw it, only for it to be blocked, or before they can throw it their killed and not revived. Whereas on axis you can have lts throw strikes and FFE with little worry of death. (I'm talking when its 20v20 and order is replaced by random chaos). Also the Lts role is diminished because players can carry 300 rounds of ammo and pick up guns without a problem, so why would anyone want to be an lt unless you want to call in support? I find myself having more ammo as a medic than a lt too often.

I think HP is fun when ur baked, and ur a flamer and u just rush in, or panzer and get like 5 kills. Every server has there players as does KT, which is also fun. For those of you who haven't played, try v887, thats what I think of you.

So to answer the question more accurately, the best RTCW player doesn't exist in this era. If you want my opinion on the current best ECGN player, I'm not entirely sure because I rarely spec other people but caffeine seems to be a pretty good well rounded player who plays Wolf like it should be played. He's a shittalking loudmouth from a seemingly lame Birdz team and I don't think his aim is as good as mine or some others on the server but those factors don't matter much.

only the best player on ecgn, not competition, that i've seen from playing recently. certainly not one of the best of all time. and yes, there are some pretty bad players on ecgn. i don't even like caffeine nor do i have any affilitiation with him but like i said, he plays wolf properly from what i have seen, he isn't a selfish player, can play every class, doesn't care about his ratio and has decent aim. hollywood i haven't seen you playing on ecgn at all until a few days ago. who would you say is the best player on ecgn? and you can't nominate yourself that's taking the easy way out

everyone on the server is bad. Server needs a map rotation and base 2 is garbage =)
