Bump. Still can't turn off private messaging.

maybe a better choice would be to turn on the following:
"Receive Private Messages only from Contacts and Moderators"

Then make all the people that you know from ECGN who visit this forum a contact.

That won't work either. Any time I try to change anything in my options and hit submit it hangs without going through with the changes "Waiting for forums.powervs.com"

Surely I can't be the only person that can't submit a change to my options?

I just checked to see if I could change it and it did with no problem.

You can check your computer using Protemac Netmine.It's firewall for Mac.I have Leopard and use it for protects against viruses.It helps me with the fight against viruses.
