Any idea where i can get this? i have looked everywhere.
And what is the difference between them?
Would really appreciate some feedback

Re: shrubmod 3.2b t5
I don't have the source code for the mod.
The only difference in 3.2 is the inclusion of shrubbot, fixed latejoins, and a few other minor fixes.
Ryan (aka shrub), the author, used to be associated with ECGN, which is where I got the build from. As far as I'm aware, no Windows build of it exists.
From what I've heard Ryan died a few years ago but I'm not sure about that. The source is probably long gone.

Thanks for the reply.
I noticed the admins on ecgn use ! to change maps ect. Is that part of the update to?
Wish i could get hold of this. If the host of ecgn could copy the shrub files for me. I would love you long time :-)
Np either way.
Thanks for the help

Re: shrubmod 3.2b t5
That's not part of the mod..that's a seperate script that runs.
Re: shrubmod 3.2b t5
If you're bouncing around with mods I wrote a 1.4 shrub alike mod not long ago. Was mainly an escape from daily routine and was never really tested much if any, but if you wish you can give it a go.
Re: shrubmod 3.2b t5
Sure. I mean i would like to have a play with it. I'm keen on sticking to shrubmod as ecgn is the only populated server right now, so if i use the same its easy to play.
Plus i have always preferred and played this mod. Well as a player that is. Finding some bugs in server settings, or it could just be that i'm a noob.
If it was a small download, and the server settings were easy to use i would prob use it.

Bugs are always present in one form or another. Some are instantly observed, others take years before they pop up and bite you in your face..just how it is.
There's no download for clients. I mean there's soundpack but that's optional and that shouldn't be forced by server. Anyway, it's here: http://pub.rtcwx.com/rtcw/xMod/xMod.zip
There's a brief documentation...note that it's poor as I just wrote it now while on coffee.

Re: shrubmod 3.2b t5
wow. nice work! i@m gonna give this a try today. i like the look of it from the cmd list. Do u know if +salute is going to work?
Re: shrubmod 3.2b t5
If any of the features (drag bodies) using it is enabled then sure, it will work permanently so player wont need to use activate button.
Re: shrubmod 3.2b t5
thanks for all the help :-) Do you still play wolf ? I have a feeling you are going to say no lol
Re: shrubmod 3.2b t5
Also. I installed the wolfx you made. I have to say the updated graphics look super good. For years i've wanted someone to update rtcw.
LIke using the same maps, with updated graphics, fixed bugs, better hitboxes ect ect.
I'm just gutted i've seen this too late and had to try it on my own :-(

Re: shrubmod 3.2b t5
I play occasionally but usually have long breaks in between as it's easy to get fed up with same maps, same people & same problems over and over again..
wolfX sadly never reached wider audience. It never really sparked much of interest with exception of few, which is something that's typical for rtcw community..as well as to not blame every one else, I did a poor job with PR as well, simply because I was never into PR thing..

Re: shrubmod 3.2b t5
Maybe you should do a repack of rtcw with wolfx and just torrent it on the major sites. I think lots of people would be interested.
I'm having another issuse with rtcw. If i put lots of maps in the main folder. It causes my game not to load and i get a shader error.
take them out and it works fine.
This kinda kills my idea of having every map ever made on my server....
Any ideas?
