Are XBOX LIVE players going to be able to play with Windows & Mac users? Is that ever going to happen?

That would be cool, but... PC or Mac users would have an advantage to the xbox users. They have a keyboard and a mouse, xbox users only have a controller with limited turning rate compared to the mouse which is nearly unlimited. So I would think it will never happen for a FPS game, although a strategy game would seem reasonable

think you're right Charged- Unreal Tournament for DC could be played cross-platform online (i'm 99.216% sure)

but no one's done it since

and agree about the KB+mouse adv on the PC (no monkey-thumbed controller can compete)
that and all the connex and graphics tweaking would lead to a mass slaughter of consolers.

not that there's anything wrong with that :D

that's kinda odd, cuz when it was out for DC, i know that i played a buddy of mine on a pc, and I literally slaughtered him and some of the others playing...hmmm, and if X-BOX live did come out with a mouse/keyboard(which im sure they do) it might be somewhat competitive

there was a quake 3 arena pack on fileplanet that allows all PC players to have the DC maps and let them play againt the DC users, That would be cool to both kind of players

not at all, though quake 3 had a nice and powerfull engine in those days UT is an awesome game with multiple gameplays modes besides a incredible SP level map pack ...
