Who have you met who is famous???
Hello!
Just wondering if you have ever bumped into anyone famous and who was it?
I was very excited when I bumped into my football hero David Seaman standing outside a restaurant at the weekend whilst I was in Manchester. I looked in my car for something for him to sign and all I had was my car handbook so I asked him to sign it for me, shook his hand and then left him in peace...For those of you who don't know who David Seaman is, he is England's GoalKeeper. I was all excited and was on cloud nine all day.
Giggles.

I bumped into a pre-homicidal snap OJ Simpson at a health club in my home town in Ohio during the mid 80s. He signed a piece of the club's stationary for me and was kind enough to not murder me.

Mike Wise took over DT/DE spot from Howie Long when he was injured/retired from the LA/Oakland Raiders. Mike graduated from UCD (local university) and worked out at the same gym that I work out at. Mike was very friendly and, at a Raiders/49ers charity softball event, brought over all the Raiders (including Lester Hayes, Fred Bilitnikoff, Dave Dalby, and others) and most of the 49ers (Guy McIntyre, Jamie Williams, Dan Bunz, and others) to chat with and to get autographs. He even gave me his beer.
Met a lot of others but this experience stuck in my mind.

Give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he'll sit in the boat and drink beer all day...

I bumped into the band Nsync at a mall in Saskatoon. Needless to say, I didn't ask for an autograph, since the band is for little girls.

LMAO, ouch man, that one hurt.
okay, you all saw right through me. I was begging on my knees for them to sign my shirt, and then their huge black security gaurd picked me up and threw me away from them.
OKAY, I feel so much more peaceful now that I finally told someone.
Once in NJ a few years back I was walking into the mall and I saw a crowd of people standing around talking and pointing. I asked someone what was going on and they said Joe Pesci was sitting in a car in the lot. I walked over to where they were and I saw him sitting in the backseat but he waved me off so not to draw attention to himself

In a mall in NJ, I saw Mr. October himself, Reggie Jackson. He was leaving the place after a book signing, but he was like 5 feet away from me. I didn't bother him.

I attended the Jack Lambert Football Camp when I was younger and meet many, many players...the cool thing was we would do everything with these guys...Imagine having breakfast with Jack Lambert, Jim Kelley, Greg Bell and Leslie O'Neal, Scott Zolak and Sean Salisbury who were in college at the time...
But the best was at a wedding reception in a hotel lobby I bumped into "Seal", he was in town performing. I introduced myself and said I enjoyed his music... yadda yadda yadda. He was very gracious, asked what my name was...and intro'd me to his band... I wished him luck with everything and after about a 10 minute conversation we went our seperate ways.
After the wedding reception was over we went to the hotel bar. We were there about a half hour when Seal and his band came walking in.... When he saw me, he yelled, "hey Jim!" and immediately made his way over to me.... Needless to say the whoe bar was in awe and my friends were in shock...thinking I somehow KNEW Seal....
He was a great guy and let me tell you something...it's true that rock stars get all the women...but even if you pretend to know rock stars-the women want you!!!! what a night!:D
P.S. sry for the novel!
