In my personal opinion, the gum and patches or the inhaler
I don't believe any of that really works, it is mind over matter , I believe if you really wanted to stop smoking you yourself have to be willing and able to want to, you have to want it bad, and if you put your mind to it then I believe anyone can stop smoking, the patches might help but you have to really want to quit in your mind more then anything

If in your mind you are not ready or don't want to quit then it won't work but that is in my opinion

Here's the best trick to employ;

Just think of how disgusting you smell to other people. Your breath, your clothes, your hair....everything effin stinks.

Hold an ashtray out in front of your face, for about 24-hours straight. Stare into that disgusting mess, smell it, taste it, lick it....that's you, my friend.

How's that cigarette looking now?

Good luck...we are lurking around hoping that you guys beat this. It is not easy, but you (and those that love you) will be very thankful that you will be around for a few more years...we only get one life, why shorten it on purpose right?

Just a quick update:

Yesterday was the 3 week mark, still going strong.

Funny how when you smoke you don't realize just how much energy it seems to drain from you...till you quit.
