this is for fun!
OMG:rotflmao:

........and you guys with the guns are insane, im staying the hell away from you.
Walther PPK, out of habit. Wouldn't mind if guns were banned. We don't need them up here in Canada.
Oh and I have a pineapple grenade from WWII also. Never fired.

Target practice and skeet-shooting are usually regret-free. And I'm not sure I'd regret threatening or capping a home-invader. Why should we be made to feel guilty for wanting to protect ourselves? I salute the work that police do, but the reality is that they do cleanup. They can't be everywhere at once. I want them cleaning up the asshole that tries to harm my family, not cleaning up my family. Having a fighting chance is infinitely better than having no chance...I would regret not being able to fight back.
Nothing personal, Silver.
With that spiel out of the way.......
I own a Ruger P89 9mm and a Winchester 1912 pump 16-gauge (not an easy shotgun to find info/history for).
And just so there's no misunderstanding:
There's not a damn moral thing wrong with owning firearms.
Period.![]()
If someone gets inside my house it is enough to say I will kick his ass back outside.

there is no moral problem about owning weapons but as an example there is no need of weapons here on Spain, since this place is so quiet ( oh, well. counting out the main cities) though police always get to the crime scene too late.

Problem is, your Constitution was written more than 200 years ago, at a time the British tried to prevent the citizens from having weapons (which made sense, there was a rebellion going on).
No document dealing with practicalities can stay valid after 200 years. It has to be updated, but some people will prevent this because it could change their habits or privileges.
It's exactly the same with conditions unions got for their members during times of healthy economy, they have to be modified after a few years but the unions will try to prevent it.
Although I was a gun buff myself, I never adhered to the much repeated (but wrong) argument that "it's not the gun that kills, it's the killer". Anybody saying that hasn't been in the real world for a while. The gun provides opportunity, an easy way to kill and get away with it. Most assassins are just lazy.
In the school I work in, there are often fistfights between stupid male teens. If they had guns, they would shoot each other.
Add that to the extreme amount of graphical violence that surrounds you everyday, and you get the result you can see right now.
