I'll comment on it as soon as I play it. For some reason the download that I got last night refused to self extract, and then when I tried to do it my self there was an error.
I played JKII 2 years ago to this day, when it first came out. That was the first game to get me off of joysticks and onto keyboard controls. I also liked that game a lot, since it taught me about scripts and tweaking. But I never ever play that game now because too many people cheat on the multiplayer servers, and that really pissed me off. Ive been in servers where the admins would put everbody to sleep (literally paralyzing your player) while you were sword fighting. Also in everyway RTCW is a better FPS. But JKII had good graphics I thought, and the network code was good I thought (but thats taken from Quake). I probably wont be impressed by Jedi Academy but I'll post about that later.

I am playing the full game right now and I think its great. It doesn't seem like a big step from JKII imo but JKII was great so I am really enjoying it.

wasn't crazy about JK2 so i didn't bother with JA
force powers were cool but the single-player just bored me and i never finished it
(that entire 1st level of JK2 was awful IMO, after a while it just felt like the dev's were forcing me to run through a bunch of boring early levels to get to the fun (force) parts later in the game)
i'm a crank about Single Player shooters in general tho
only ones i've finished in the last 5 yrs are
Deus Ex
MoH:AA
Halo
SoF1
Half-Life
OpFlash

yup
i just picked up Mafia for $25- game's a year old but (now that i have the cpu to play it) it's easily one of the best games i've played in the last 2-3 years
lots of similarities to GTA3- but much better storyline, characters, atmosphere, missions
very few games earn their shiny new $50 pricetag so i'm all about gaming on the cheap
