Quick question for Halo PC and XBOX owners. Is it worth it to own 2 copies of the game? I own Halo for XBOX and really didnt understand all the hype. Sure it was a good game but not the greatest game ever as some say. Maybe thats cause I feel handicaped using the joystick in any FPS game. But multiplayer might be cool. There must be graphical improvements too right?

I have Halo on Xbox and bought the PC version today.
I LOVE IT!
The 16 player multiplayer is the real meat of the PC version and is a blast to play! Yea 16 players sounds kinda small, but the maps were designed for that number so you don't notice.
The graphics are better than whats on Xbox IF you have a machine that can run the game with the resolution cranked up. However I play the game at 800x600 with full settings maxed and the game looks as good as it does on xbox; it runs about as good too with only a few periods of slowdown. Just remember that the fps is locked at 30, but you hardly ever notice it.
That said, Halo will be staying on my HD for quite some time.

I have HALO for my XBox and I still love playing every now and again. It is a super game! The best aspect is that I would get on GameSpy and play with other people online; what a blast!
The downside is that you could only get 16 in those games if everyone had 4 people on their Xbox.
Nevertheless, it will always be one of my favorites!

HALO benchmark
1.Have Halo installed.
2.Go to C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo
3.Find Halo.exe and create a shortcut file to it.
4.Right click the shortcut and select properties.
5.Change the target to "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo\halo.exe" -timedemo
6.Run the shortcut
Happen to know any other command line parameters?
