Vid Cards
1. Get one your motherboard can handle (what x AGP it is)
2. I don't like the geforce fx series, so I stuck with the ti series
3. ti 4200 at 128mb is decent, its 119 at 4x agp (it can be tweaked up to the stats of a ti 4600, but I can't guarantee it will last real long, overheating problems)
4. ATI cards in that price range tend to be better, but I don't research their cards much.

That link should help some.

Edit: Whoops, noticed someone else linked to tom's, damn work computer resolutions.
